One of the main causes of traffic accidents is driving without a license. It is not humanly possible to check the licenses of all drivers considering that there are 1.09 crore cars in Delhi NCR alone. Our idea aims to solve this problem
Our solution is as simple as can be. We propose to develop an app where users register their car and connect their phone to the car at the time of ignition. Then the driver should verify himself with his fingerprint, which should be matched with the driver's license database.
Our app is cheap to develop - a mobile app. The app should be available for free to all users. According to a News18 survey, most car owners own a smartphone. As digital penetration grows, the population with a smartphone will continue to increase, increasing the devices eligible to download our app
Since it is a digital mobile app, it can be easily installed on a variety of devices without requiring major changes. The only change that would be required would be to improve the government's infrastructure to allow for a large number of queries to their database. Our app will be feasible in other countries due to its simplicity
